The interior design of tourist spaces plays a central role in triggering emotions among tourists and visitors and in making interactions with them more significant and attractive. At the same time, designs should reflect the heritage and the storytelling of the surroundings and should keep in mind the operational needs of the teams that manage tourist centers on a day-to-day basis.
In this context, the SENSATUR project explores the combination of Evidence-Based Design methodology and technologies used to develop new intelligent systems, in order to objectively and empirically assess the impact of interior design and museum discourse on changes in the perception, emotions and behavior of visitors to tourist spaces.
The results of the SENSATUR project will allow for the digitization of the collection processes of data relating to the influence of interior design on user behavior. For companies that form part of the habitat ecosystem, this means that:
