Summary

INTRIDE project studies the new competences need of designers graduates and develops the required training materials. These needs are grouped into 3 packages of transversal nature competences: social, digital and sustainability competences (soft, digital and green).

This new approach will allow designers to act as key triggers and catalysts of innovation within SME home furnishings products manufacturers.

5 universities, 3 clusters and 2 technology centres are partners of the INTRIDE project.

Summary

ISO project aims to train the occupational profile of the "Internationalization Service Officer".

This training should allow improving the competences and skills of this profile to support SMEs, among others home and contract equipment manufacturers, that wish to deploy their internationalization strategy.

SAMANTHA main objective is to develop and implement a training programme in additive manufacturing (3D printing).

This course will meet the training needs of VET students and of employees from home furnishings products and toolmaking manufacturing industries.

Summary

SUNRISE project explores the use of gamification and simulation-based learning environments for training workers.

Gamification is a learning model that brings games mechanics to the educational-professional environment in order to improve its results. SUNRISE will develop a training course for wood and furniture sector workers using a virtual simulator.

The use of such tools helps to make training more attractive and, finally, to attract and maintain skilled workers in the wood and furniture sector.
