The project will allow the LAMIGRAF company to implement the digitalization of the current analogical laboratory for the melamine paper printing process through a rotogravure printing process.
This process digitization will lead to significant economic savings, environmental improvements and lead time reduction, while increasing the product offer.
Implementation period: 26/04/2019 - 30/11/2022

The objective is the development and demonstration of an integral solution for the application of Internet of Things (IoT) in new smart products within the home furnishings sector.
The project includes the development of solutions by 3 technological centres for sensorics, signal transmission and data processing as integral parts of an IoT platform. Moreover, 3 manufacturing companies will develop prototypes of new products incorporating IoT and that will be integrated into the new platform.
AMBIT is responsible for the definition of requirements to be fulfilled by the platform, it supports the manufacturers in the new prototypes co-creation, and to validate them by simulating real use conditions.
The developed IoT solution will be designed to facilitate the inclusion of new products from other home furnishings companies in the platform, reducing the time-to-market and the costs for development and customization.
Implementation period: 01/11/2019 - 30/04/2022

The purpose of the Interiors Living Lab or Laboratori d'hàbitat is to enable the measurement of the user's behavior of real spaces according to the configuration of their interior design: types of product used, location, colors, lighting...
The Lab non-invasive methodologies and technologies that enable the detection and analysis of users' biometric response in order to identify their emotions and variations in behavior.
Big data analysis allows space managers to modify interior design in order to simulate a change in user behavior and increase the efficiency oh that space. In medical settings the efficiency of a space can be measured in terms of induction of relaxation (children before consultation) or speed of recovery in postoperative. In corporate environments, the efficiency of a space can improve the type of interaction that is intended for employees. In terms of a tourist establishment, the joy or stimulus of consumption.
The technologies of the Interiors Living Lab are applicable to any space that can be monitored: hotels, hospitals, schools, offices... and the procedure used is designed to respect the right to privacy of users.
The focus of the lab in the initial phase has focused on hotel spaces. The data obtained allow the co-creation of a space with the entire value chain: product and brand designers, interior designers and managers of spaces (hotels).
Interiors Living Lab will help companies to:

Experimental implementation of an Integrated System of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in furniture 01/09/2018 - 30/03/2019 |
SIRVA is a project that will develop a novel system that integrates virtual reality and augmented reality in the furniture distribution process.
The application of these technologies for the furnishing and decoration of spaces, allows participating companies to develop competitive differentiation strategies in marketing based on the visualization of products in virtual environments.
SIRVA will develop solutions that take into account the specificities of the two distribution channels in which the participating companies operate: retail and contract.
Execution period: 01/09/2018 - 30/03/2019
Application of open source solutions for product visualization for home and contract equipment through virtual reality and augmented reality systems.
The development of this type of solutions is expected to be useful, with the adaptations corresponding to each business model, for companies along the value chain:
Aid Program for Innovative Business Groups of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (AEI-010500-2018-172).
AMBIT realiza más de 100 actividades al año. Todas ellas están pensadas para beneficiar preferentemente a los socios.
