Summary

The aim of the project is to promote the certification of the chain of custody in companies specializing in the secondary processing of wood. Carpentry companies and furniture manufacturers in 5 Autonomous Communities across Spain have been trained in the chain of custody methodology (FSC and PEFC systems).

Summary

The creation and activation of a community of companies in the interior furnishing sector to share market intelligence in relation to global lifestyle and interior design trends and its use for designing furnishing products.

Resumen

The ECO4VET project has studies the gap between the training needs of employees in the furniture sector in relation to ecodesign and sustainable manufacturing compared to the training programs that currently exist at a European level. Training contents have been developed to cover this gap, with a pilot training program having been run in five languages in various European countries.
